The Gulfport High School Fine Arts Department is excited to welcome students, families, and supporters to the 2026 MHSAA 58th Region V State Marching Evaluation, now scheduled for Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at Milner Stadium in Gulfport, Mississippi.
Originally scheduled for Saturday, October 10, the event was rescheduled by the Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) due to weather concerns associated with the approaching storm. The Gulfport High School Fine Arts Department appreciates the patience, understanding, and flexibility of all participating schools, families, and supporters as preparations continue for Wednesday's event.
Hosted by the Gulfport High School Admiral Band, this annual event brings together talented high school marching bands from across the region to showcase their musical excellence, precision, and dedication to the performing arts.
The MHSAA State Marching Evaluation provides participating bands with an opportunity to demonstrate their hard work and musical achievements as they perform for evaluation.
Admission: $10 per person
Spectators can enjoy a variety of food and beverages from vendors on site, including Allen Beverages, Admiral Concessions, and Papa John's Pizza. PepWear will also be on site offering event merchandise.
The event will be professionally photographed by Brandon Boyd of Boyd Media, capturing action packed photos of participating marching bands, with CA Video providing video coverage of the performances.
